
Clare: A native of England, began her career
at the catering college in Ipswich, England. She has worked as
a pastry chef in major hotels in England, Germany, and the U.S.
Hans: A native of the Netherlands,
began his career at the culinary college in Holland. He has worked
as a chef in hotels and restaurants in Switzerland, Holland, Germany,
England, and the U.S.
Married since 1981, the couple followed
their dream to open and operate a neighborhood café and
bakery in 1990. Both are passionate owners and can be found everyday
in their restaurant and bakery.
